Caring for Carers Association has been delivering an effective service to BME older people and carers for 15 years and has a track record of meeting the needs of people who are marginalised.
The Association is also effective in involving service users both in the design and delivery of services. Caring for Carers targets people from black and minority ethnic communities, particularly elderly and disabled carers and ex-carers, who are often the most socially excluded groups within the community and sometimes excluded from mainstream services.
Caring for Carers Association delivers a range of activities that address the needs of vulnerable, elderly carers aimed at reducing the effects of social isolation including advice and information, social activities, practical help, outreach and one to one counseling and home visiting.
We are based in Hammersmith and Fulham and
funded the local authority and other funding
bodies including charities.
